…if it ain’t got that swing…do wah do wah, do wah do wah, do wah do wah, do wah, do wah.
Sorry, but I’ve just got home from the theatre after my dancing show dress rehearsal and that’s stuck in my head from the opening tap routine (which I fail miserably at, by the way).
Today was alright. It could’ve been a bigger waste of my life, but it always could’ve been less of one. The few of us who bothered to turn up didn’t have to stay until the end of the day, and we mostly just talked and laughed and got told off by the evil librarian for disturbing other people. However, unless these other people were hiding behind the shelves, they didn’t exist because we were the only people in the library for most of the day.
The best bit was when me and my friend Chloe had to go and collect all of the old textbooks that had been left in the common room and deliver them back to the appropriate departments. We got a trolley and the lift key, and set off. Once we’d been round the whole school taking everything back, I sat on the trolley and Clo ran with it down the length of the bottom floor corridor. At one point, she made like she was going to crash me into the lockers, obviously intending to swerve or stop the trolley. However, the wheels were dodgy and wouldn’t do what she wanted them to, and we ended up nearly knocking over a whole row of lockers. It was fun.
Then I got the key that made the lift work stuck in the keyhole and when I was pulling at it to try and get it out, about half of the other keys on the keyring somehow escaped and went all over the floor. So I had to crouch with one leg stuck into the lift to keep the doors from closing to collect all the keys. I think at least one fell down the gap where the doors go, but I’m sure we’ll cope. The secretary I returned them to didn’t seem to think anything was different.
Anyway, I’m knackered now. Liverpool Uni trip tomorrow…should be good as long as I can sleep on the coach.
Bye
